We've just received the Highland Park 1988 Vintage Release. Distilled on Orkney in 1988, matured for over three decades, and bottled in 2023 — just 625 hand-numbered bottles exist.

It spent most of its life in four American oak bourbon hogsheads before finishing its final eleven months in a pair of European oak hogsheads. The result is remarkable: citrus zest and dried apricots, scorched vanilla fudge, sherried raisins with cinnamon, and that unmistakable Highland Park peat smoke threading through everything.

Each bottle comes with a certificate signed by master whisky maker Gordon Motion, presented in a leather-lined white oak box. Both the bottle and box carry an embedded solid silver amulet of the distillery logo.
