We asked our whisky expert team for their favourite 12 year old - and although you shouldn't pick your favourite child, these were the most popular choices!

Yamazaki 12 Years Old

From Yamazaki the 12 year old has a light but complex flavour profile an iconic stable of Japanese Single Malt Whisky. Distilled at Yamazaki Distillery, the birth place of Japanese whisky.

Balvenie 12 Year Old

The Balvenie Single Barrel is a 12 year old single malt which is drawn from a single traditional oak whisky cask of a single distillation. While each cask is subtly different, The Balvenie Malt Master selects only those casks which have the essential characteristics of The Balvenie Single Barrel, particularly honey, vanilla and oaky notes.

The GlenAllachie 12 Year Old

The flagship in GlenAllachie's new core range, released in July 2018. Matured in a mixture of virgin oak, oloroso sherry and Pedro Ximénez sherry casks, this has sweet flavours of honey, marzipan, bananas and butterscotch.
