Nose: Aromas of mixed spices, praline and spiced orange

Palate: Orange, black cherries, dried fruit and ginger spiked with dark bitter chocolate and enriched with Sherry and Oak.

TOMINTOUL 17 YEAR OLD PEDRO XIMENEZ FINISH

These sherry butts perfectly complement Tomintoul Single Malt by imparting rich fruit flavours, which enhance the character and complexity of the whisky.

The end result is a rich, sweet and fruity whisky, which is has been bottled at 46% abv and is non-chill filtered. This is a limited release of only 9,870 individually numbered bottles.

LOCHLEA HARVEST -SMALL BATCH

In the Harvest Edition for 2022 a combination of Port, Oloroso and Bourbon casks have been used. Lochlea created a complex whisky to reflect the unpredictable west coast summer!

This expression highlights stewed apples, pear drops and marshmallows, followed by strawberries and violets, then finishing with hints of signature Lochlea cereal and freshly cut grass.

LOCHLEA PLOUGHING -SMALL BATCH

In this Ploughing Edition (first crop), Lochlea have used a combination of ex-Islay barrels and peated quarter casks.

Winter on the farm is when they start to plough the fields, it can be bitterly cold and frosty at this time of year, therefor they have created a warming, smoky version of the signature Lochlea whisky.

The tasting notes include boiled sweets, cooked apples and brazil nuts all intertwined with a comforting haze of lingering peat.
