Happy New Year—We’re starting 2026 off big with an interview with Jimmy Donaldson, the 27-year-old YouTuber better known as MrBeast. With more than 450 million subscribers, he runs the most popular YouTube channel in the world.
In 2024, Donaldson made his first foray into traditional entertainment with “Beast Games,” a reality show competition that featured 1,000 people competing for a $10 million prize over the course of 10 episodes. Season 1 of the show was Prime Video’s most-watched unscripted show of all time, according to Amazon.
“I’ve always wanted to do the biggest game show in history,” Donaldson told reporter Ashley Wong.
