One reader's work project:"I joined Legal Aid of West Virginia, as Resource Development Coordinator about a year ago, when the organization was finalizing a move of the statewide headquarters into new offices in Charleston, West Virginia. Working with staff, one of our capital campaign donors, and a local artist, I was able to create a large financial literacy board game. Young guests β clients β are sometimes unable to secure childcare for appointments and the discussions can be difficult; this was kept in mind in our new offices with spaces dedicated to children and their safety, and everyoneβs ability to have a productive meeting β travel around the board visiting neighbor restaurants and stores while learning the importance of saving money for emergencies and fun. More on this at: WesBanco West Side Spend Smart Challenge." We're inspired by you, MM! |
