The Frosted Crystal Sets
432 Hz • Perfect Pitch • Re-Engineered
|
|
Most crystal singing bowls are commodity products. The rims are poorly ground, which means the bowl produces off-tones on activation: a scratchy, wavering sound that undermines the note before it has a chance to sustain. The bases are rounded, so the bowl shifts during play. The sustain is short because the geometry was never optimized for it.
We took the frosted crystal bowl and re-engineered it at every one of those failure points. The result is a bowl that activates cleanly from the first stroke, holds its tone long enough to fill a room, and stays put on any surface while you play. Every set we offer is built to this specification.
All three sets below are tuned to 432 Hz, selected to perfect pitch within 5 cents of the fundamental. They share the same engineering. They differ in scale, in harmonic scope, and in what they can do in a room.

What We Re-Engineered
|
|
Easy-play rims
Ground and finished to a specification that produces a clean, consistent tone from the first stroke. You activate the bowl and you get the note, every time.
|
Prolific sustain
Fused silica sustains naturally. The bowl geometry is optimized to let that sustain happen: long enough to fill a room, long enough to pace a breath.
|
|
Flattened base
The bowl stays grounded during play. Strike, bow, or rim-play with full confidence that it holds its position while you work.
|
Nested padded bags
Custom padded bags sized to each bowl, designed to nest inside each other. The set travels as a single compact unit, protected.

The Major Triad
C • E • G • 3 Bowls • $999
The C-E-G major triad is the most harmonically resolved sound in Western music. The three pitches relate to each other in frequency ratios of 4:5:6, among the simplest integer relationships in the audible spectrum. Simple ratios produce minimal beating between partials. Minimal beating is the acoustic definition of consonance. Your auditory system processes this chord as resolved, stable, and complete, and it does so automatically, below the level of conscious thought.
At 14, 12, and 10 inches, these bowls carry a room on their own. They also function as a tonal anchor alongside bronze bowls, gongs, and other instruments: the crystal bowls hold the harmonic center while everything else moves around it. The C-E-G chord gives the whole session a place to resolve to.
This is the entry point into the system. Three bowls, one chord, the most stable harmonic relationship in the scale.

The 7-Bowl C Major Scale
C D E F G A B • 7 Bowls • $1,950
The full C major scale, from C4 at 14 inches down to B4 at 8 inches. Seven bowls, seven notes, the complete diatonic foundation of Western harmony. Every interval in the scale is available to you: the major second, the major third, the perfect fourth, the perfect fifth, the major sixth, the major seventh. You can play any chord in the key, any melodic line, any progression.
The sizing runs from 14 inches to 8 inches in proportional steps. Each bowl is selected for tonal clarity and consistency so the set flows naturally from one note to the next. The A4 bowl sits at exactly 432 Hz, which means the tuning system is built into the scale itself: every other bowl in the set is derived from that anchor.
For practitioners who work with groups, this is the set that gives you the full range of the scale. You can move through it melodically, build chords, or hold a single note while the room settles. The bowls nest inside their custom padded bags and travel as a single unit.

Set 03 of 03
The 9-Bowl C Major Scale
C D E F F♭ G A B C5 • 9 Bowls • $2,733
The 9-bowl set extends the 7-bowl scale in two directions. At the top, a High C (C5 at 513.74 Hz, 8 inches) closes the octave, giving the scale a complete resolution point above B4. At the center, a binaural F pair: two F4 bowls tuned 3 Hz apart, one at 342.88 Hz and one at 346 Hz.
When both F bowls are played simultaneously, the slight frequency difference between them produces a slow, oscillating beat frequency in the room. The two tones do not cancel each other: they interact. The oscillation moves through the space at a rate determined by the 3 Hz gap between them, and the listener experiences it as a pulsing, three-dimensional quality in the sound that a single bowl cannot produce. This is the binaural effect applied to acoustic instruments, and it is audible to everyone in the room without headphones.
The 9-bowl set is the most complete instrument in the line. It covers the full octave, closes it with the High C, and adds a tonal dimension at the F that no other configuration in this system produces. The bowls travel in three nested padded bags.
