đ The largest development to receive permits last week was for a single-family build in Encino, where plans were filed for 11,278 square feet of work across two permits at 3864 North Kim Lane. The project includes a new two-story single-family dwelling with an attached three-car garage and a pond.

đ In Valley Glen, permits were issued for 8,765 square feet of construction across three permits at 14414-14418 1/2 West Tiara Street. The project includes building a new accessory dwelling unit, along with a three-story duplex. The work is estimated to cost around $880,500.

đ Bel Air had the top alteration application to receive permits last week at 944 North Airole Way, a megamansion known as "The One," where plans were filed to undertake 75,856 square feet of alteration work across 12 permits. The interior changes span the first and second floors, along with roof deck extensions and basement additions. Total costs are estimated at more than $350,000. Richard Saghian, owner of fast-fashion company Fashion Nova purchased The One in 2022 for $141 million.

đ In Van Nuys, permits were issued for a 16,333-square-foot alteration at Van Nuys Golf Club, located at 6550 North Odessa Avenue. The $1.1 million commercial project includes an addition to a driving range canopy and adding an equipment room.

đ The largest demolition to receive permits was in Studio City. Plans were filed to knock down multiple structures at 11641-11685 West Ventura Boulevard and 4000-4020, 4024-4028 North Colfax Avenue, including a restaurant, retail space, auto repair shop and recording studio. Combined, the properties span 16,640 square feet. The demolition comes at the hands of SRM Development, which is planning to build a multifamily building for seniors with a range of assisted-living, memory care and independent-living units at the site.Â
