Yes, Gravitas remembers the last unit settings when you turn it off. You will not need to cycle through the different unit modes to get back to your last used unit.

There is no minimum weight. All measurements below 1000 g are measured accurately to ±0.7 g. Above 1000 g, the accuracy spec is ±1, 0.1% g.

Yes, Gravitas can be calibrated by the user with a 1 kg weight. The calibration instructions are in the user manual included with Gravitas. We recommend using an M2 class 1kg weight or better.

Yes, Gravitas measures pounds and ounces. It does not measure decimal pounds. It includes eight modes:

Ounces Only
Pounds and Ounces
Grams Only
Kilograms and Grams
High Resolution - Ounces Only
High Resolution - Pounds and Ounces
High Resolution - Grams Only
High Resolution - Kilograms and Grams

The quick answer: Gravitas automatically shuts off after 20 minutes. It will remember the last reading for those 20 minutes.

Here is the full breakdown: Gravitas stays on for 5 minutes after the last weight change. After those 5 minutes, it goes into standby mode for 15 minutes. The display will turn off, but Gravitas will remember your reading. Any button press will wake it from standby mode.

Yes, absolutely. The button just to the left of the display is "Power / Tare." Hold the button to turn the unit off and press it to tare.
