Paul Smith returns with Ratio, a collection shaped by his playful instinct for order, rhythm, and repetition. Drawing on the discipline of the Bauhaus movement, its precise grids and graphic forms are reimagined by hand into sculptural, deeply tactile rugs. What begins as a grid finds new life in the hand of the artisan.

From the smallest motif to the boldest graphic structure, the four designs — Axis, Stil, Raster, and Takt — are each brought to life through a distinct language of craft. Tibetan knot meets Tulu and Persian; shag meets flatweave. Subtle shifts in pile, knot, and texture create surfaces rich in depth and movement.
