Dear Customer,
We wanted to let you know that we've refreshed our Privacy Policy to explain more clearly how we look after your personal data. Nothing about our core promise has changed: we still only use your information to give you a good experience and to run our business properly. The update mostly makes things clearer and brings the wording up to date. Here is a plain summary of what is different.
Clearer explanation of why we use your data
We've set out, in more detail, the reasons we're allowed to use your information - for example, to process your orders, to send you marketing when you've agreed to it, and to run our day-to-day business. This is the same activity as before, just explained more openly.
How our shopping data partnership works
We take part in a retailer data-sharing scheme run by Epsilon Abacus, which helps us send you offers that are more relevant to what you like to buy. We've made it clear that this only happens when you give your consent at checkout, and you can change your mind and withdraw that consent at any time by contacting us.
Sending data outside the UK
Some of the companies that help us run our website, marketing and analytics are based abroad, including in the United States. We've explained which of these act on our instructions and which use your data for their own purposes under their own privacy notices, such as Google, Meta, TikTok, Rakuten and Klarna. Whenever your data goes to a country without the same data protection status as the UK, we put proper legal safeguards in place to keep it protected.
Who our policy is for
We've added a short note confirming that our website and products are meant for adults. We do not knowingly market to, or collect information from, anyone under 18.
Your rights, spelled out more fully
We've described your rights over your own data more completely, including how to see what we hold, correct it, ask us to delete it, or object to certain uses. If you ever want to exercise any of these rights, or you have a question, you can contact us at [email protected].
You do not need to do anything as a result of these updates. By continuing to use our services after this date, you agree to the revised policy.
You can read the full updated Privacy Policy here. This summary was last updated on 21st July 2026.
Best wishes,
This Works
