When pop-ups first started, er, popping up across London, there was an element of mystery around them, from cloak-and-dagger foodie spots to blink-and-you’ll-miss-them fashion stores. But these days everything is revealed long before you step through the doors. The dishes, the clothes, the location, the surprises – the works!
It’s very good news indeed, then, that there’s a here-today-gone-tomorrow secretive new fashion pop-up coming to London from September 12-15, and everything is shrouded in complete and utter secrecy.
But while their lips are sealed, ours certainly aren’t, and it remains our mission to bring you the latest and greatest our fair capital has to offer.
What we do know is that it’s all going down in West London – more specifically, at an open-air space right beside the main entrance to the Westfield White City shopping centre in Shepherd’s Bush – and that it all begins with a mysterious red box in the days leading up to the big reveal. Our mole also tells us that the whole thing is to mark the launch of chic, stylish new autumn/winter collection from the as-of-yet-undisclosed brand behind the whole shebang – clothes! Accessories! Shoes! – while there’ll be on-the-ground stylists at a dedicated studio within the fashion pop-up to help you work your looks.
