Around the world, there are traditional but little-known dishes that are endangered, whether it’s because recipes are being altered to cater to travellers, or simply that climate change and rising costs are making traditional ingredients harder to source.
Good news, then, that Intrepid Travel – who specialise in small-group adventures where you can experience destinations like a true local – has teamed up with Food at 52 Cookery School in Shoreditch for a series of endangered cookery classes. They’re a seriously hot ticket!
Guided by one of the kitchen’s professional chefs, you’ll learn every step of creating an endangered dish in each class before tucking in to indulge for yourself. There are multiple classes and sessions, so pick a dish, date and time that suits you. From the £20 ticket price, £5 will go towards The Intrepid Foundation: Intrepid Travel’s non-profit that creates positive change through the joy of travel, community and connection.
We’ll see you in the kitchen.
