Is there anything more glamorous – or quintessentially London – then slinking down the iconic staircase at legendary restaurant Quaglino’s? We certainly don’t think so.
This summer, there’s even more reason to make a reservation with Summertime Screenings every Wednesday at 7.30pm, sharp. From Dream Girls and Grease to Dirty Dancing and Mamma Mia!, the series invites fans of the silver screen to enjoy cinematic gold alongside a starry three-course menu (think cod with girolles, smashed truffle burger with loaded fries, barbecue salmon and lamb cutlets ‘Milanse’). A ticket also includes an ever-changing welcome cocktail – such as the Brugal 1888 with its namesake double-aged rum, coffee liqueur, espresso and vanilla sugar – and the movie for just £65 per person.
Naturally, additional drinks can be ordered during screenings and are served tableside for a touch of added theatre, while popcorn is thrown in just because – nothing less than you’d expect from Quag’s.
Enjoyed amongst Art Deco surroundings, it’s one of the most elegant ways to spend an evening this summer – and it’s the perfect excuse to dress up and bring the drama.
