Sweet tooth?
Then this culinary masterclass is sure to tickle your tastebuds.
Made using an endangered recipe for sticky rice, inanchila is a Filipino dessert created using pounded rice topped with latik (caramelised coconut cream) and formed into a tongue shape, and it’s what you’ll be creating at this cooking session right here in London.
Taking place at Food at 52 Cookery School in Shoreditch on Thursday, June 25 in collaboration with Intrepid Travel – who specialise in small-group travel where you can experience destinations like a true local – the class will have you cooking up a storm in no time.
Guided by one of the kitchen’s professional chefs, you’ll learn every step of creating the traditional dessert before tucking in to indulge in all its sweet, sticky deliciousness.
There are multiple sessions, so pick a date and time that suits you, and there are other endangered dishes in the series, so pick and mix, or do them all!
From the £20 ticket price, £5 will go towards The Intrepid Foundation: Intrepid Travel’s non-profit that creates positive change through the joy of travel, community and connection.
We’ll see you in the kitchen.
