Guitar is my "me time"

Mike told me that before TAC, he'd dabble with guitar, get frustrated, and eventually forget about it.

Now he calls his guitar time:

"My me time."

And I love how modest his goal is:

"I'll never be a Mark Knopfler, but if I can learn to play 'The Unicorn' for my granddaughter I'll be the happiest guy you'll ever meet."

Maybe that's a better way to think about learning guitar.

We spend so much time asking:

"How good am I getting?"

But what if the better question is:

"How much do I enjoy picking up my guitar today?"
