I've said this a thousand times, but...

You've probably heard me say "just give me 10 minutes" about a thousand times by now.

But one TAC member recently explained why it works better than I ever have:

"I thought 10 minutes a day sounded ridiculous. Now I understand. Ten minutes turns into twenty because I'm having fun."

Exactly.

Ten minutes isn't really the goal.

It's what makes picking up your guitar feel easy.

You don't have to find an hour.

You don't have to psych yourself up for a serious practice session.

You just start.

And sometimes 10 minutes is 10 minutes.

Other times you look at the clock and realize you've been playing for half an hour.

So maybe the question isn't:

"How much time should I practice?"

Maybe it's:

"How easy can I make it to start?"
