DO: Wear tight, technical fabrics that don't hold water; if it’s loose, the mud will find its way into places you didn’t know existed.
DON'T: Even think about wearing cotton. It will sag the second it gets a bit of "action," leaving you with a "saggy diaper" situation by mile three.
DO: Ditch the ego and the $200 carbon-plated shoes; they belong in a museum, not a mud pit.
DON'T: Bring a "pretty" matching gym set unless you want it to become a permanent shade of "despair brown" by obstacle two.
