The Top 3 Teamwork Obstacles

Conquering this obstacle requires a continuous loop of mutual help. Participants must traverse a deep pool of water containing massive, rotating, triangular blocks that naturally roll backward under a single person's weight. Because solo scaling is virtually impossible, one group must physically push and rotate the heavy structure from below so that others can grab the apex and pull themselves over. Those who make it across must then immediately turn around, hold the block steady, and pull from the far side to help the next wave of runners scale the block.

The final few feet of this massive summit rely entirely on a human chain. Everest is a towering, slick quarter-pipe that demands a full-speed sprint just to get close to the top ledge. Because the wall curves away from the runner at the peak, almost no one can reach the summit completely unassisted. Runners who have already conquered the wall must hang far over the edge, linking arms and legs to catch sprinting participants mid-stride and physically haul them over the top.
 

Reaching the top ledge requires participants to actively engineer a pyramid of bodies. This obstacle features a steeply inclined, incredibly slippery wall where the smooth surface offers absolutely no handholds or footholds, causing solo scramblers to immediately slide back to the bottom. To defeat the incline, mudders must sacrifice their own quick finish by anchoring themselves against the wall, allowing teammates to step directly onto their backs, shoulders, and heads to build a path to the top.
