Most Mudders complete their Trifecta across the season, spacing events out to train, recover, and avoid hating every minute of it. That said, it is possible to squeeze it into two days, an event weekend, or even a single day for those with airtight logistics and an impressive grasp of start line rules.

For first-timers (and the emotionally well-adjusted), start with the events closest to home. Build up in distance, turn it into a weekend if the venue’s worth it, and keep travel costs sensible. Smart planning is the real cheat code.
