The grapes used are grown organically in Italy and a sample has been tested for glyphosate and none was found. Once the grape must and wine vinegar are blended, the mixture is aged in oak vats, which help to deepen the complexity of flavor and give the vinegar the desired texture and thickness.
This high quality Balsamic Vinegar has a thick consistency and sweetness that is very pleasing to the palate.
It is ideal for being used as a salad dressing, especially when paired with a high quality Extra Virgin Olive Oil.
Many lesser quality balsamic vinegars use thickeners, sweeteners and artificial colors to achieve the same texture, flavor and dark color of our Balsamic Vinegar. However, our premium Balsamic Vinegar only contains cooked grape must and wine vinegar with nothing else added.

Consistent quality, perfect for allergy-friendly salads. I haven't found a single in-store option for a balsamic vinegar without any additives. I've only ever bought this on sale, so the price winds up being competitive for the quality, but I go out of my way to purchase this product from this site because of the care in sourcing.
