Two types of pants, unlimited looks

In case you didn't know, we make business casual pants.

But not just ANY business casual pants.

Our Performance Pants have a buttery soft, 4-way stretch fabric for ultimate flexibility, and a professional look that is designed to impress.

We originally launched them in 2019 and after your feedback, we re-launched in 2020 with much admiration from loyal Twillsters like you.

It remains one of our best-selling products to this day.

Last year, we extended the lineup with the Five Pocket version.

And it's also been very well-received by our core base.

Anyway...

We were chatting with the marketing team the other day, and we realized we haven't done the best job explaining — or demonstrating — the difference between the original Performance Pants (aka the Chino) and the newer Five Pocket version.

So let's get into this breakdown, shall we?

Before we discuss what is different, let's examine the similarities. The key details of both Performance Pants:

✅ Performance Fabric: 100% Japanese Stretch Fabric that never needs ironing and has a dynamic 4-way stretch

✅ Phone & Zippered Travel Pockets for keys, chapstick, and wallet (I suppose vape pens too... because 2022)

✅ Shirt-Gripping Waistband so belts are completely optional.

✅ 5 Pockets. Surprise! Both pants technically have 2 back pockets, 2 main front pockets + 1 zippered pocket on the front left side.

✅ Same $99 price point (or $89 each when you bundle 2+).

Now here is how they differ:

❌ Five Pocket has a denim look (not feel or material). If you zoom in on the shapes of the front and back pockets, they mimic the style of denim jeans. The curve of the front pocket and the lip of the back pocket.

❌ Five Pocket comes in 6 colors — Black, Blue, Charcoal, Khaki, Navy, and Slate Grey.

❌ Performance Pants (Chino) comes in 7 colors — the same as Five Pocket plus Melange Grey (which is a lighter shade of grey).

❌ Five Pocket comes in 6 waist sizes (30-40) and 3 lengths (30-34).

❌ Performance Pants has a few more sizing options. It comes in the same waist sizes and lengths plus 2 fits (trim and tailored).

And as of a couple days ago, we've completely restocked our Five Pocket Pants in Black, Charcoal, and Khaki.

So...

If you're ready for the ultimate pair of chinos, pick up some Performance Pants.

If you want the same feel with a denim look, grab some Five Pocket Performance Pants.

If you get 1 pair, it's $99 (or 4 payments of $24.75 with SHOP Pay).

When you get 2+, yes you can mix 'n match between both pants styles, they're $89 each.

While you might not go to the extreme that our friend above, Jeff, went and threw away all of his other pants...

I strongly encourage you to at least try.

If you have trouble finding your size, make your best guess by ordering 2 pairs and then exchange the one that doesn't fit for another color.
