Around the world, in classrooms in Cambodia, schoolyards in Uganda, or learning centres in Ukraine, children speak the universal language of friendship. From a shared laugh, a helping hand or kind words online, friendship helps children feel seen, supported and safe.
30 July marks International Day of Friendship, a day that observes the connections built and nurtured between individuals, whether they're old or young. And it often starts with a single, small act of kindness.
This year, celebrate the friends in your life by helping a child who needs support.

Celebrate friendship by helping a child through crisis.
Friendship is about showing up when someone needs you. For children affected by emergencies, your support can provide the essentials they need to survive and recover, from clean water and nutrition to healthcare, education and protection.
This Friendship Day, make a meaningful difference for a child in need.
