Here's one thing I wish I'd done sooner in my 26 years of building Unique Vintage, and it's the word we all dread:

Networking. Exactly as cliché as it sounds.

E-commerce is a much smaller world than it looks from inside your own LinkedIn. Every mistake I made alone, someone else had already made and survived. I just hadn't met them yet.

Twenty-six years in and I'm still learning something every single day. Some days that's thrilling. Others, it's humbling. I'd love to hand everything I know now back to the woman who started this in 2000 — she could've used it.
