Restocked, refreshed, and ready for August

Happy Friday and Happy August. If you’re like me, you’re probably wondering: ‘how is it August?’ Well, that’s because it’s either been 300 degrees this summer or a torrential downpour. Time flies when you’re constantly in weather limbo, or so the saying goes.

A few exciting updates to share:

1) Hair Clay is Re-upped.

Hot off the presses, we have Hair Clay. And by hot, I’m serious. The manufacturing process involves a ‘hot fill’ (~150-180°F). The ingredients in the formula need heat to stay pourable; once they cool, they firm up into that signature moldable texture. After filling, each jar is placed in a cooling tunnel, dropping in temperature before it ever gets capped and labeled. This gentle, gradual cool-down is what gives the clay its smooth, consistent set. The result? A product with all-day hold without the feeling of helmet head. Grab yours here, especially for those hot, humid summer days (and nights).

2) Sweat the Small Stuff.

Our August content series features ‘sweating the small stuff’ and products within our assortment that help manage these high temperatures. Re: sweat, it’s your body’s natural cooling mechanism. If you use an anti-perspirant, you’re using aluminum to close your pores in your underarms blocking sweat and inhibiting the body’s ability to cool itself. With our Deodorant, your body can still perform the way nature intended, but we leverage unique ingredients to attack odor at the source. TL;DR - it’s okay to sweat, but we want to make sure you still smell and feel cool, calm and collected.

Re: cooling, we use menthol in our Citrus Body Wash and Shampoo to help invigorate and stimulate your body and skin. Adds a little pep in your step via an instant burst of refreshing coolness. ‘Tis the season for that.

3) Some Branding Upgrades.

Since launching seven years ago, our branding and visual aesthetic as a brand have largely remained unchanged. Over the next few weeks and months, you’ll start to see some ‘refreshes’ along the way. From color scheme to packaging, these upgrades will better align with the Huron brand and the direction we’re headed. Be on the lookout as we tap into this amazing audience of folks to help collect your perspectives, feedback, etc. You all have meant so much to us as a brand that it feels right to continue to build Huron alongside you.
