Today, we’re excited to announce a new addition to our collection: the D4 Meridian Matte Ceramic Diver, a limited-edition timepiece that introduces a bold, refined aesthetic to the Vaer solar lineup.

This release builds on the success of our bestselling D4 series while introducing key enhancements, including a fully lumed matte ceramic bezel, enhanced bezel grip for ease of use and polished lume trays for added visual impact.

Many of these improvements were first introduced on the D4 Outerknown collaboration (which sold out in 2 hours) and we're excited to carry them over to a wider selection of our solar-powered dive watches.

What makes this watch special?

"Matte ceramic bezels are a rare design feature, even on $10k luxury divers. It's a design implementation we've been working on for nearly a year, testing colors and finishes on numerous rounds of prototypes. After a lot of work, we've finally landed on a version that hit all the marks, delivering a level of durability that is matched only by it's eye-catching aesthetics.

38mm vs. 42mm

"When deciding between 38mm and 42mm for your D4 diver, it ultimately comes down to wrist size and personal preference. For those with wrists over 7 inches, we generally recommend the 42mm case for a balanced and proportional fit. If you have smaller wrists or simply prefer a more compact and classic look, the 38mm size is an excellent choice.

Both sizes are designed with timeless proportions and ergonomic comfort, so whichever you choose, you’ll get a watch that feels great on the wrist and looks incredible in any setting."
