Valley Vet’s Senior Category Manager, Abby, grew up on a dairy farm, where long days, family, and caring for animals were simply part of everyday life. While she knew her husband, Austin, before he started working on her family’s dairy, it was there that their story really began.
Today, nearly nine years into owning and operating their own dairy, they’re raising five children while continuing the lifestyle they’ve built together.
One of Abby’s favorite parts of raising her family in the dairy industry is watching her kids learn firsthand where food comes from and having them involved in daily life on the farm. Through those everyday moments, they’re learning responsibility, commitment, compassion for animals, and the value of hard work at a young age.
What makes Abby and Austin proud to be dairy farmers is knowing their work contributes to something bigger than themselves. Every day, they have the opportunity to care for their animals, provide a nutritious product for others, and continue a way of life they truly love.
