An apprentice absorbs far more than technical skills. They learn standards, values, culture, professionalism, resilience and the countless unwritten lessons that can only be gained by being immersed in a thriving salon environment.
They watch how challenges are handled, how relationships are built, how excellence is maintained and how every client is made to feel special. Over time, thousands of small interactions, conversations, demonstrations and acts of encouragement accumulate. A reassuring word after a mistake, a shared tip from a colleague, an extra few minutes spent explaining a technique—these moments become the building blocks of a successful career.
Developing an apprentice is a collective investment by an entire salon family. When everyone contributes, apprentices learn how to become trusted professionals, valued colleagues and, ultimately, the next generation who will pass their knowledge on to others.

Healthy hair is essentially 97% protein and 3% water. The protein provides the structural strength, the water gives flexibility and shine. Hair cannot be overloaded with protein but it can become so dehydrated with heat styling, colouring, and siliconised hair products that you end up losing the 3% water of fresh root hair, and then what is left of the shrunken hair towards the ends is 100% protein and too porous to hold moisture. |
