For me, a shade often begins with a feeling before it becomes a color. Confiture de Figue started with one of my favorite summer rituals in France—apéro. It's simple, but almost sacred there. To me, it represents something deeper: slowing down, being fully present, gathering with the people you love, and finding joy in everyday moments. Some of my favorite memories are picking fresh figs in Provence, making confiture, and sharing it over cheese and wine as the sun begins to set. I wanted this shade to capture that feeling as much as the color itself.

Capturing that feeling also meant capturing the dimension. When you look closely, a fig is full of unexpected colors—the cool tones of its skin, the subtle warmth of its flesh, the richness of the jam. I spent so much time balancing those nuances—blending burgundy, eggplant, ruby, mahogany, and amber—to create a berry-brown that feels sophisticated and surprisingly easy to wear. Paired with the sheer, juicy finish of Bisou Jelly, the result catches the light like just-bitten lips after a bite of homemade confiture.

I hope this shade brings a little of that slow summer feeling wherever you find yourself this season.
