If you've been following me for a while, you know I'm very particular about creating new formulas. I never want to bring something into the world unless it feels genuinely new. Balm Amour took six years to create. There are so many lip balms on the market, but I couldn't find one that delivered the level of nourishment, comfort, and long-term care I was looking for. After I launched it, I immediately started thinking about color—and not long after, many of you started asking for it. But honestly, I wasn't convinced it needed to exist. I thought, "You can always wear the clear Balm Amour over another lip color."
Then for fun, I started playing with a few tinted versions for myself. The more I wore them, the more I reached for them. I realized there were so many days when I'd done my skincare routine and didn't want makeup, didn't want to layer, but still wanted a little something on my lips. Not lipstick. Not a stain. Just a hint of color with all the care and comfort of Balm Amour.
That's when I knew it deserved to exist.
