~To be eligible for the Pick Your Bonus promotion (Offer) you must (1) Choose your bonus via the Benefit Selector through the Pick Your Bonus Offer landing page
between 12:01am AEST 7 May 2026 and 11:59pm AEST 15 May 2026 inclusive (Promotion Period); (2) after Offer activation, book and ticket an Eligible Flight during the Promotion Period and enter your valid Velocity membership number at the time of booking; and (3) complete travel on an Eligible Flight. An Eligible Flight is a Domestic, Trans-Tasman or International short-haul flight marketed and operated by Virgin Australia flown between 12:01am AEST 7 May 2026 and 11:59pm AEST 31 December 2026 inclusive. An Eligible Flight does not include: Reward Seats, International long-haul flights to or from Doha operated by Qatar Airways for Virgin Australia, domestic flights flown as part of an International long-haul journey; charter flights operated by Virgin Australia; and, interline or codeshare flights operated by partner airlines. If you book a Virgin Australia flight in the same booking as another airline (whether they are a partner of Virgin Australia or not) you will earn based on total miles flown (TPM). Flights which are earned at TPM are not eligible for this Offer. Tickets purchased on codeshare services marketed or operated by partner airlines or Virgin Australia operated flights combined in the same booking as a partner or non-partner operated flight are not eligible for this Offer. Cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer. Not available through other purchase channels. | Triple Velocity Points on Hotels by Hopper via Virgin Australia Terms and Conditions |
^During the promotional period of 12:01am AEST 11 May 2026 to 11:59pm AEST 17 May 2026 (Offer Period), Velocity members will earn Velocity Points on eligible hotel bookings with Hopper Hotels at
https://www.virginaustralia.com/au-en/hotels, with an earn rate of 9 Velocity Points per $1 spent on eligible hotel bookings. This means that Velocity members may be eligible to earn 3 times the standard earn rate of 3 Velocity Points per $1 spent on an eligible hotel booking. Platinum Plus Members will continue to earn their tier bonus Velocity Points separately (an extra 4.5 bonus Points per $1 spent on eligible hotel bookings). All bookings made through this platform are subject to Hotels by Hopper Terms and Conditions.
An eligible hotel booking is one that is made during the Offer Period via Hopper at https://www.virginaustralia.com/au-en/hotels and is for travel between 11 May 2026 until 26 March 2027 (inclusive). A credit card surcharge may apply on bookings made via Hopper Hotels where payment is made directly with the hotel or accommodation.
Velocity Points are not earned on full redemption hotel bookings. For “Points + Pay” bookings, Velocity Points will be earned on any “+ Pay” component. Velocity Points will not be awarded for additional or incidental hotel costs (such as in-room charges, early check-in, late checkout and upgrades), cancelled bookings or bookings where stay is not completed. Velocity members must submit their valid Velocity membership number at the time of booking to be eligible to earn Velocity Points. Only one Velocity member per booking (the Primary Guest) is eligible to earn Velocity Points.
Velocity Points are only awarded following a completed stay. Velocity Points will be awarded after check-out and are credited to your account within one (1) week after check-out.
