Can you wear blue light glasses with contacts?

Blue light lenses are a popular choice for people who work in front of screens for long hours. 

They filter out the UV rays that cause irritation, dryness and disturbed sleep. 

You can choose non-prescription blue light lenses, which filter the UV without correcting vision. 

Or we have prescription lenses which serve two purposes: correction and protection.

If you’re already wearing corrective contact lenses, then you CAN add blue light glasses, but make sure they’re non-prescription, otherwise you’ll be “stacking” the correction and may experience double reflection. 

Only choose prescription blue light lenses if your contacts are for cosmetic use only. 

In that scenario, however, most wearers will choose to switch to a prescription blue light lens entirely, since the glasses accomplish your cosmetic and corrective goals.
