The basic design of the shirt has barely moved in 100 years. But you can radically reinvent what a shirt can do if you use advanced technologies, parts and construction.

And that’s exactly what we’ve done.

The Equator Shirt is engineered for the hottest places on Earth.

It's made from Karnak Menoufi, a rare, silk-like cotton grown in the Nile Delta which only appears in the years when the rain, soil and wind conditions are perfect.

We combine it with elastane and an ultrafine nylon in Italy to add stretch and abrasion resistance. The result weighs just 196 grams and feels silk-like next to your skin.

It's ultralight, highly elastic, breathable and fast drying, whether tackling humidity, sweat or rainstorms.

But it still has a sharp collar and hidden buttons, so you don't look like you've just rolled in from the beach. It comes in Black, White and Blue.

The Ultralight Shirt is the one you pack when it's the only one you pack. It weighs 295 grams and is engineered for every climate, environment and terrain on the surface of Earth.

The material is built by Schoeller, one of the world’s leading material labs. An elastane filament runs through the centre of every yarn, wrapped in a sheath of high-tenacity polyamide. The core gives it extreme two-way stretch. The sheath gives it durability and a surface that feels like a shirt rather than yoga pants.

It's protected with ecorepel Bio, a plant-based finish that works like a waxy leaf, so rain beads up and rolls off. No PFCs and no Teflon chemistry.

Heat is handled 3 ways – a crepe-like surface that traps air and sits slightly off your skin, clusters of 1.5mm laser-cut ventilation holes hidden at the underarms, and a concealed zip-entry chest pocket that's also vented.

And it fastens with 7 invisible Riri snaps behind a covered placket, leaving a clean, unbroken line down the front.

The unique material engineering also means creases are a no-show. Pull it out of a bag that's been under a seat for 9 hours and it still looks sharp. It comes in Sand and Khaki.

The Planet Earth Shirt 2 is built to take on time itself.

We made it with Twaron, a para-aramid fibre used in body armour, aerospace parts and industrial systems where material failure has life-and-death consequences.

Para-aramids are around 5 times stronger than steel and highly resistant to long-term fatigue.

We weave those fibres into a dense, non-stretch material in Italy, blending them with polyamide and cotton. There's no elastane, because stretch fibres feel forgiving early on and then sag.

Where a typical apparel material fails at around 20,000–30,000 revolutions on the Martindale abrasion test, this one was tested to 100,000 and passed. That's a century's worth of rubbing, movement and contact without structural breakdown.

Then we removed the failure points. Twin-needle stitching throughout, reinforced bartacks at high-stress points, French-seamed underarms, a double back yoke, and metal snaps instead of buttons at the placket, cuffs and collar.

It's not indestructible. But it is designed to fail very, very slowly. And probably outlast you. It comes in Khaki and Black.
