From Ballhalla to Berlin: FIBA Women’s Basketball World Cup 2026

The FIBA Women’s Basketball World Cup is the premier global tournament for women’s basketball, bringing together the top national teams from around the world. The 2026 tournament marks the 20th edition of the prestigious event, continuing a legacy that has shaped the sport for more than 70 years.

From September 4–13, 16 teams will compete in Berlin for the chance to be crowned world champions. The tournament begins with group play before moving into the Quarter-Finals, Semi-Finals and, ultimately, the Final on September 13. And this year, the Valkyries are going global.
