September With the Valkyries: FIBA Women’s Basketball World Cup and the Final Days in Ballhalla

On September 18, the WNBA regular season resumes after the FIBA World Cup break, and the Portland Fire are flying south for their last visit to Ballhalla this regular season.

Valkyries players Gabby Williams, Janelle Salaün, Cecilia Zandalasini, Miela Sowah, and Kokoro Tanaka are going beyond the Bay and returning to the FIBA Women’s Basketball World Cup in Berlin, with Williams and Salaün playing for France, Zandalasini for Italy, Sowah for Australia, and Tanaka for Japan.
