Ten years ago, Wild Rye started with a simple idea: women deserve outdoor apparel that performs as hard as they do.
A lot has changed since then. But our focus hasn't — we're still here for women who find joy, confidence, and connection outside and expect their gear to keep up every step of the way.
Last year, we opened our WeFunder campaign so our customers, supporters, and friends could become actual owners in Wild Rye. As we approach our 10-year anniversary this July, we're entering the final month of that round.
Recently, the outdoor industry has faced some of the toughest conditions I've seen in my career. Last year alone, many brands were forced to shut their doors entirely. We knew survival wouldn't be enough. We needed to build a stronger, more resilient business.
I'm proud to say that's exactly what we've done.
This year, our direct-to-consumer business is up 97% year over year. We launched outerwear — a whole new category with a whole new door to growth. And we've continued to earn the loyalty of a community that genuinely believes in what we're building.
We know who we serve. We know what we stand for. And we've proven that a values-driven brand can actually thrive.
