It started with a bad hotel coffee. Shockingly bad. Frustrated enough by an abysmal espresso on a business trip, industrial designer Hugo Cailleton spent the next two years building the machine he wished he'd had – and Wacaco was born. Having been missing from our shelves for longer than we'd like, the brand is back in stock now, bigger than before, with hand-pump classics sitting alongside a bona fide first: an electric portable espresso maker with built-in temperature control.
