Midnight on the open deck, the band still playing. Champagne in hand, the Mediterranean stretching into the night. Near the bow, one of our longest-serving crew members rings the yacht’s bell to close out the year, then passes it to one of our newest to ring in 2027. A Windstar tradition, happening aboard Star Explorer for the first time.

It begins December 28, when Star Explorer sets out on her first voyage with Windstar, sailing round-trip from Barcelona with calls in Valencia, Cartagena, Gibraltar, Málaga and Palma de Mallorca. And you can be among the first 224 guests aboard.

Choose a suite with a private veranda or an Infinity Suite, where a floor-to-ceiling window opens to the sea. Dine at Basil + Bamboo, our specialty restaurant blending Mediterranean and Asian flavors, or settle into the Yacht Club and watch the Mediterranean go by.
