Les Vins Georges Duboeuf was founded in 1964 by the late Georges Duboeuf, a French négociant dubbed the “king of Beaujolais”. The firm quickly grew into one of France’s largest wine merchants and now bottles more than 2.5 million cases a year. Duboeuf almost single‑handedly transformed the local tradition of quickly bottled Gamay into the global Beaujolais Nouveau phenomenon, using carbonic maceration to create a fresh, fruit‑driven wine released just weeks after harvest. Today his son Franck oversees a colorful portfolio of nouveau wines that wine lovers look forward to enjoying at the end of every year.
For the 2026 vintage, we're offering three Georges Duboeuf Nouveau styles: the classic Beaujolais Nouveau (750ml) at $14.99, available in a 1.5L magnum for $29.99; Beaujolais Rosé Nouveau (750ml) at $15.99; and Beaujolais-Villages Nouveau (750ml) at $15.99, also available as a 1.5L magnum for $31.99. Made primarily from Gamay, Nouveau is released only weeks after harvest, giving it a fresh, fruit-driven character that is particularly well-suited to the Thanksgiving table. Expect juicy red and dark berry character in the reds, while the rosé brings bright red fruit and citrus freshness, making these bottles natural partners for roast turkey, stuffing, and holiday appetizers.
