Fresh allocations direct from Bordeaux, available at the opening offer before they're spoken for. This week's releases show the vintage's reach: the genuine surprise is Beau-Séjour Bécot at under $70 - 98-100 from Vinous's Antonio Galloni, who summed it up in a word: "Unforgettable." Troplong Mondot reaches the same 98-100 from Wine Advocate, with Figeac, Ducru-Beaucaillou, and Pichon Baron close behind. Two more standouts below. All wines remain in temperature-controlled storage in France under château supervision until release, shipping after 11/1/2028.
The First Growth is here. Wine Advocate calls the 2025 "one of the more impressive renditions of Haut-Brion in recent years" (98-100), and Jeb Dunnuck has it at 97-100. Also available as a 1.5L magnum and 6-bottle OWC.
On the St-Emilion limestone plateau, few wines speak as clearly as Canon. The 2025 continues what Wine Advocate calls "this property's brilliant decade-long run of exceptional wines" (96-99), and Galloni at Vinous named it "a total stunner" (98-100) with "the vibrant, saline energy that is such a signature here."
