Seats for our Meet the Winemaker dinner with Axel Levaut of Pradel de Levaut on Thursday 25th June are almost gone, and we wanted to make sure you had the chance to secure yours before they disappear.
To make those final few seats extra special we've pulled together an incredible gift! With Father's Day falling on Sunday 21st June, just four days before the dinner, we have created a gift that we think is pretty hard to beat. Two tickets to the evening at Nove Restaurant in Malahide, paired with a bottle of Château Martinet presented in a wooden gift box.
Everything you need to give a Bordeaux-loving dad an evening he will genuinely never forget. The gift is €300 in total, and given that there is limited availability, we would not sit on this one.
It is the kind of gift that goes well beyond a special bottle. It is a full evening in the company of Axel Levaut himself, one of the Right Bank's most compelling winemakers, tasting back vintages from some of Saint-Émilion's finest estates across three courses of beautiful food. That is a proper Father's Day.
For those who would like to come along themselves, individual seats are also still available, but with fewer than ten remaining we would encourage you to move quickly.
On the night, Axel will guide us through a selection of back vintages chosen for their drinkability and the stories behind them. We will open at 7:00pm with a glass of Champagne, and the evening will run through to 10:30pm across three courses from the team at Nove. An area of the restaurant will be reserved exclusively for our guests, the attendance is strictly intimate, and Oliver Dunne's kitchen will look after us beautifully
throughout. For anyone travelling from the city, Nove is just two minutes from Malahide Train Station with DART connections right across Dublin and beyond.
Where: Nove Restaurant, St James Terrace, Malahide
When: Thursday 25th June
Time: 7:00pm – 10:30pm
Individual Tickets: €130 per person
Gift: 2 tickets plus a bottle of Château Martinet in a wooden gift box, €300
One last thing. Our Summer Wine Festival is on this Thursday, June 11th, and we are on the cusp of selling out completely with only 5 tickets remaining. If you have been thinking about it, this really is the last call. Over 80 wines, a brilliant atmosphere, and a proper Summer kick-off. We would love to see you there too.
Sláinte,
Will 🍷
