It’s back – and it’s bigger than ever.
The Rioja Festival is back for its fifth consecutive year, and to celebrate the launch we releasing EarlyBird tickets available only until the end of June.
Join us on Saturday, 17th October 2026, at The Alex Hotel, Dublin 2, for the ultimate celebration of Spain’s most iconic wine region. With over 150 wines to taste, expertly curated Masterclasses, and Rioja’s finest importers and producers in attendance, this year’s event promises to be the best yet.

As always, the event will run over two sessions in order to provide an opportunity for ticket holders to taste as many wines as possible. Each session is 3 hours with ample time to attend a 45 minute Masterclass, as well as tasting through all of the wines on show. Sessions will run from 1.30pm - 4.30pm and 6pm - 9pm, with 2 Masterclasses held in each session.
EarlyBird tickets start at €40 per person for general admission and are €45 once the first release sells out.

The Discovery Zone!
The Discovery Zone is back and it’s bigger and better than before!
This year the Discovery Zone will feature wines from all over Spain, so you're sure to discover something new. When you’ve tasted all of the Rioja wines, we want you to come to the Discovery Zone to try Sherries, Cava, regional whites, Albariños, Tempranillos, Garnachas and all other blends, wines and fortifieds from the Spanish Peninsula. Whether its Ribera del Duero, Jerez, Rias Biaxas, La Mancha or Penedes, you’ll learn something new
about Spain and the regional wines on offer from the most diverse wine producing country on the planet! This year’s theme is Knowledge, Education & Understanding – you’ll leave with a deeper appreciation of Rioja’s regional diversity and stylistic evolution.
Most of the top Rioja estates will be present. You’ll be given a tasting booklet & tasting glass upon entry. Each of the wines will be represented by their unique importers who will be delighted to engage questions and discussions, so ask them lots! There will be whites, reds and some rosé wines to taste throughout the day.

Bodegas Marqués de Reinosa was founded in 1956 and is located in the municipality of Autol in Rioja in the sub-region of Rioja Baja. The winery is the head of a corporation consisting of 300 different winegrowers who together own more than 1000 hectares of vineyards. It is of the utmost importance to Bodegas Marqués de Reinosa that each winegrower treats his grapes with respect for tradition and love for the land in order to be able to conquer the most demanding palates and
give its wines an unparalleled character. A large part of the vineyards are located around and on the slopes of Mount Yerga, which makes its location perfect and the grapes enjoy the optimum amount of sun.
This Rioja Reserva proudly bears the Denominación de Origen Calificada Rioja quality mark and is also classified as a Reserva. A Rioja Reserva must mature for at least 12 months in oak barrels and then for another 24 months in the cellars of the winery, or vice versa.

Medium to full in body with a plush feel, the palate is generously endowed with rich liquorice, black raspberry and toasty vanillin oak flavours. Mocha, earth and spice characters also chime in. Ripe polished tannins have a sturdy underbelly. Concludes long and opulent
yet also slightly chewy.
