New Blu-ray at YesAsia: Blades of the Guardians, No Other Choice, Hidden Face, Black Showman, BABYMETAL

Directed by Zhao Linshan, the Chinese wartime drama 731 focuses on the crimes against humanity committed by the Imperial Japanese Army's Unit 731 during the final stages of World War II. Set in Harbin, China, in 1945, the film reveals how Unit 731 secretly arrested, imprisoned and experimented on civilians, depicting the experiences of ordinary people drawn into the horror.

Japanese BL drama At 25:00, in Akasaka returns with a second season! Based on the manga by Natsuno Hiroko, the series revolves around actors Shirasaki Yuki (Niihara Taisuke) and Hayami Asami (Komagine Kiita) whose relationship heats up on and off the set. In Season 2, Shirasaki and and Hayami have officially become a couple, and work is also going well for both of them. However, during preparations for a special drama, an incident occurs that causes turmoil in their relationship.

Fukuyama Masaharu, who starred in the "Detective Galileo" series of TV dramas and films, headlines the new Higashino Keigo adaptation Black Showman! Fukuyama Masaharu becomes a mystery-solving magician in the film based on the Japanese mystery writer's 2020 novel Black Showman and the Murder in an Obscure Town. Arimura Kasumi co-stars in Black Showman, which is helmed by The Confidence Man JP series director Tanaka Akira.

Legendary Hong Kong action choreographer Yuen Woo Ping directs Blades of the Guardians, a period martial arts epic based on the Chinese comic Biao Ren. The film goes all in on the action and star power with an equally epic cast that includes Wu Jing, Nicholas Tse, Jet Li, Tony Leung Ka Fai, Kara Wai, Zhang Jin and Yu Rong Guang. The sprawling cast also highlights rising young stars including Yosh Yu and Ci Sha from Creation of the Gods, Yue opera actress Chen Lijun, and idols Wen Junhui of Seventeen, Dong Sicheng of WayV and Liu Yaowen of Teens in Time.

Writer-director Nakano Ryota, whose works include Her Love Boils Bathwater and The Long Goodbye, again explores the complexities of family and loss in the film Bring Him Down to a Portable Size. Based on an essay by writer Murai Riko, the Japanese drama stars Shibasaki Ko as a novelist who suddenly learns of her estranged brother's death. Over the next few days, she meets his fractured family and cleans out his belongings, confronting unresolved conflicts and long-buried memories.

Song Seung Heon (Obsessed), Jo Yeo Jeong (Parasite) and Park Ji Hyun (The Divine Fury) fall into a dangerous love triangle in Hidden Face, the Korean remake of Andrés Baiz's same-titled 2011 film! Kim Dae Woo, the director of Obsessed and The Servant, brings another erotic mystery thriller with sumptuous visuals.

Decision to Leave director Park Chan Wook delivers another gripping, award-winning feature with No Other Choice! Based on the novel The Ax by Donald Westlake, the Korean black comedy thriller features an all-star cast including Lee Byung Hun, Son Ye Jin, Park Hee Soon, Lee Sung Min, Cha Seung Won and Yeom Hye Ran. Lee Byung Hun plays a desperate man who takes fate into his own hands after getting laid off from work.

Kim Hye Soo, Yeom Jung Ah, Jo In Sung, Park Jung Min, Kim Jong Soo and Go Min Si are Smugglers in Korean writer-director Ryoo Seung Wan's crime action blockbuster, which won Best Film at the Blue Dragon Film Awards and Best Director at the Grand Bell Awards. Set in the 1970s, the film revolves around female divers who turn to smuggling but their friendship and business fall apart. Years later, they reunite to execute a smuggling operation of much bigger scale. 4K Ultra HD + Blu-ray Collector's Edition with four booklets, poster and postcard.
