Hello ,
After recently selling out, we’re excited to share that we’ve secured additional inventory of the legendary 2010 Château Smith Haut Lafitte — and this parcel is arriving directly ex-château.
Under the ownership of Florence and the late Daniel Cathiard, Château Smith Haut Lafitte has risen to become one of the benchmark estates of Pessac-Léognan through an uncompromising focus on terroir expression, precision viticulture, and meticulous winemaking. Organic and biodynamic farming, severe selection, and obsessive attention to detail have elevated the estate into Bordeaux’s top tier.
The 2010 vintage stands as one of the château’s greatest modern wines and one of the defining wines of the legendary 2010 Bordeaux vintage. Critics consistently describe it as powerful yet vibrant, layered with cassis, graphite, tobacco, smoke, and black olive, all carried by beautifully sculpted tannins and an exceptionally long mineral finish.
Long viewed as an insider’s alternative to the Médoc First Growths, Smith Haut Lafitte has firmly established itself among Bordeaux’s elite. The 2010 is a flagship example of that ascent — a benchmark vintage for the estate that is drinking beautifully today while still offering years of upside.
Offered at $230 per bottle with impeccable ex-château provenance, this latest parcel arrives in Fall 2026 and follows a previous allocation that sold out almost immediately. The wine has earned tremendous critical acclaim, including a perfect 100-point review from Jeb Dunnuck, alongside 98 points from Wine Advocate, 99 points from Decanter, 96 points from Wine Spectator, and 95 points from Neal Martin — further cementing its status as one of the landmark wines of the vintage.
