We are pleased to offer a rare library release sourced directly from the cellars of Le Ragnaie, one of Montalcino's most respected traditional estates. Through our close relationship with Le Ragnaie's U.S. importer, we were able to secure access to these cellar-aged wines, which have remained at the winery since bottling. The result is impeccable provenance and the kind of bottle age that allows Brunello to reveal its full character.
Founded by Riccardo Campinoti, Le Ragnaie has become a benchmark for elegant, terroir-driven Brunello. With vineyards ranging from the high elevations of Castelnuovo dell'Abate to the famed slopes of Montosoli, the estate crafts wines celebrated for their purity, transparency, and remarkable ability to age.
This collection spans several exceptional vintages now entering beautiful stages of development. The legendary 2010 Brunello offers depth and complexity after more than a decade in bottle, while the acclaimed 2016 single-vineyard releases showcase the precision and energy that have made Le Ragnaie a favorite among collectors and critics alike. Mature magnums from the estate's historic Vigna Vecchia vineyard add an additional layer of rarity to the offering.
These wines represent something increasingly uncommon: mature Brunello acquired directly from the producer's cellar, with both provenance and patience already built in.
