Comfort over everything.

Margo here. With my wedding coming up, I’ve been careful about the skincare I’ve been testing. That said, the minute I saw that Maelove made a dupe for SkinCeutical’s cult-favorite C E Ferulic Serum at a fraction of the cost, I knew I needed to try it. Unlike SkinCeuticals, Maelove’s The Glow Maker has a watery texture (I find that SkinCeuticals’ version feels oily), along with a calming complex of aloe and hyaluronic acid for sensitive skin. Because I struggle with eczema and perioral dermatitis, I was looking for an antioxidant serum with vitamin C that is potent and effective, but wouldn’t irritate my skin. This one is just that, with the same concentration of ingredients (and it doesn’t exceed $33).

Today’s Must-Haves

Here are three of the hottest products on the internet this week:

wipes, shipping label printer, nail-care serums

(Not So) Silly Little Treat

In our series (Not So) Silly Little Treat, Skimm’rs share the joy-sparking products they’re buying during the week. Today’s submission? A pair of Amazon pants before you commit to the real ones from Anthropologie:

pants

“I rented Maeve’s Colette Pants on Nuuly and have had a sickly obsession with them (without the budget to afford them). I found a similar pair on Amazon for about a third of the price. While Anthropologie’s stretchy Magic Fabric is unbeatable, this Amazon pair is still fantastic and has stretch to them. They’re so comfy, great for work, and I get compliments every time I wear them.” —Allison Florentino, 33, Boston, MA
