Happy Sunday. If you’re reading this, I’m probably knee-deep in Netflix’s new Little House on the Prairie series with my AC on full blast. If that’s not enough of a reminder that I blessedly live in the year 2026 and not the 1800s, I’ll…
Add some very trendy coastal-chic accessories to my wardrobe to help me achieve my dream of dressing like Aquamarine (if anyone knows where to get the starfish earrings I’ve coveted since 2006, let me know).
👁️ The latest mascara trend is giving Hilary Duff’s “Come Clean” music video — and we can’t decide whether we love or hate it.
Greetings from Day 57 of the Tayvis wedding rollout, in which the biggest talking point has become the one celeb who wasn’t there. No, not Blake Lively. But Margaret Qualley, whose husband, Jack Antonoff, showed up with his fashion designer sister instead, sparking rumors that all might not be right in indie paradise. While some suggested the actress might’ve been busy with her day job, People reported on Wednesday that the couple had separated, with one source saying “it’s been difficult” and describing their relationship as “rocky” from the start (interesting that one of the most romantic songs in Lana Del Rey’s discography suggests otherwise). Meanwhile, a second insider told the outlet that the Bop Mastermind and Text Message Poet Laureate were “figuring things out.” All of which was followed by a statement from Qualley’s rep, saying there wasn’t “trust issues” or “infidelity” and adding that “they have deep love and care for one another.” Worth noting: The rep didn’t confirm or deny the split, and the Bleachers frontman was photographed still wearing his wedding ring (naturally, the internet had quite a bit to say), so make of that what you will.
The days-long costume contest known as Paris Couture Week just came to a close — and oh là là, did the celebs deliver some brilliant, bold, and borderline unhinged looks. Now, we may not be in the awards business, but that’s not going to stop us from doling out some very unofficial superlatives. Without further ado…
Move over, Sushi Park — celebrities have a new favorite date spot. Let’s hope everyone knows how to check for ticks.
What happens when your fiancé takes the celebrity hall pass a little too literally? In Gail Daughtry and the Celebrity Sex Pass, Gail (Zoey Deutch) embarks on a journey from Kansas to Hollywood to even the score and have sex with her celebrity freebie: Jon Hamm — who, yes, plays himself. Described as a “f*cked-up, silly retelling” of The Wizard of Oz, the movie follows Gail as she picks up some friends along the way: an aspiring talent agent (Ben Wang), a down-on-his-luck paparazzo (Ken Marino, who also cowrote the movie), and Hamm’s Mad Men costar John Slattery as himself (or, a version of himself who apparently knows some serious karate). Together, they encounter plenty of obstacles, including a gun-toting “Weird Al” Yankovic and a criminal mastermind (Sabrina Impacciatore). If you’re a fan of screwball comedies, celebrities playing ridiculous versions of themselves, and all things Wicked, you’ll love this film, which one fan called “so stupid in all the best ways.”
Margo, commerce editor, here. Given *gestures broadly at everything* I’ve been on the hunt for cute, affordable clothing that’ll keep me looking — and feeling — cool, even when it’s unbearably hot outside. That’s why these high-waisted Quince shorts were an immediate yes. They’re $32, have an elastic waistband (bless), and come in a chic, relaxed fit (read: they won’t stick to your skin). Plus, I love the spacious pockets and the seven equally wearable shades. Grab a pair — or two — for those swampy days when you want to feel put-together, with as little effort as possible.
