Happy Sunday. Public pools officially opened for the season in New York yesterday, and if the rain holds out long enough, you know thatâs where Iâll be. Itâs one of my favorite (and free) ways to spend a summer afternoon. Next, Iâm going to a cheesemonger competition (yes, really) where I look forward to eating my weight in Brie. Hereâs what else Iâm thinking aboutâŠ
As a longtime fan of Martha Stewartâs thirst traps, sheâs convinced me to try the drugstore beauty product that she apparently uses to get perfectly glowy skin. If itâs good enough for Martha, itâs good enough for me.Â
Catching up on Every Single Album, my favorite pop music podcast, as the hosts dive into Olivia Rodrigoâs new album. (Yes, Iâve had âExpectationsâ on repeat for two weeks straight.)Â
This viral salty-sweet recipe has infiltrated my every thought, so I will not be able to rest until I try it. (Side note, do I need to up my sprinkle game?)

đ This moody, classic holiday hue is apparently the color of summer. And once you see these seven ways to wear it, youâll wholeheartedly agree.
đ Forget your beaded clutch â this delightfully whimsical bag is making an even bigger splash among the fashion set, and itâll make you want to play mermaids.
đŠ¶ Bored of only ever painting your toenails red? (Same.) These are thecoolest pedicure trends to ask for at your next appointment.
𧣠Stop tying it around your head or waist â turns out, the most stylish way to wear a silk scarf is to do it like an early-2000s pop star. Only this time, your mom will actually approve.
Sure, it may only be Day 768 (sorry, 18) of the 2026 FIFA World Cup, but weâre ready to declare that one man has won the whole thing. No, not Merlin the Duck. Weâd like to crown Erling Haaland â the Norwegian striker who, as The New Yorker put it, âplays with the effectiveness of a sovereign wealth fundâ â our MVP. Of course, thereâs the obvious: He scored four of Team Norwayâs seven goals during the group stage, but he's been hilariously nonchalant about his own success and whether or not theyâll beat France. (We love an expectation-managing Himbo king.) The goofy dude even encouraged his teammates to lean into the âViking Row,â a Scandinavian twist on the wave that Norwegian fans have done in the stands, on a crowded NYC subway car, and in the middle of Times Square (bet they're all thankful for that Norwegian healthcare system, ja?).Â
Is the will-they-wonât-they? couple of the decadefinally going for it? After what can only be described as a yearslong flirtationship, Keke Palmer and Hot Ones host Sean Evans are apparently âhanging out.â For those unfamiliar with their lore: The two first hit it off when Palmer went on his show in 2017, and by her second appearance in 2021, the chemistry was capital-P palpable. Lest you assume everyone was just getting carried away, Evans straight-up admitted he had a crush on the actress during an appearance on Chicken Shop Datein 2023 (nothing like a chicken-based talk show to get the conversation flowing). But it wasnât until their third date (correction: Hot Ones episode) last year that they finally broke the touch barrier, when Palmer asked the host for âa quick smooch to see if thereâs a spark.â Apparently, as Palmer put it, the âsparks are sparking,â because earlier this month, the two were spotted having dinner together in Brooklyn â sans mics, so you know they meant business. Finally, we enter into evidence Palmerâs coy answer when asked about Evans during a panel this past week. All this has us wondering: Are they just hard-launching a hot sauce collab? Or is this really true love? TBD, but we know exactly what they should serve at their wedding.
Apologies to the soon-to-be-former British PM Keir Starmer and Larry the Cat, butthe real star of 10 Downing Street is back. Do we think thereâs a Mrs. Hot Podium Guy?
The middle seat. Cramped legroom. The uncomfortable mattress. Travel pains add up, as do long days on your feet having new adventures. Pushing through soreness isnât always the answer.
